Jerry L Butler, 84, of Liberal, passed away on June 22, 2024 at Wheatridge Care Park.
He was born on October 15, 1939 to James and Nettie (Patrick) Butler at Formosa , KS.
On September 16, 1961 he married Judy Heller in Hastings, NE.; she preceded him in death on May 6, 2024.
Jerry was a proud US Army Veteran.
Jerry is survived by Son, Michael Butler of Norton, KS; Grandson, Hunter Butler of Liberal, KS; Three Granddaughters, Madison Winters of Liberal, KS, Phalyn Butler of Salt Lake City, UT, Hannah Butler of Liberal, KS; Brother, Charles Heller of Bemidji, MN.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Per Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an Inurnment at the Ft. Dodge Veteran’s Cemetery will take place at a later date.
