The Liberal Rattler 18u team played in McPherson on Friday and Saturday. The Rattlers went 1-3 and saved their best game for the last. On Friday they lost to the Hutchinson Shawks 12-1 before a loss to the Topeka Senators 3-2. On Saturday, Liberal lost to the Salina Falcons 8-0 but bounced back to beat the Newton Knights 10-8. The Rattlers trailed by five but rallied for the win. The Rattlers are 12-8-1. The Rattlers host Garden City Wednesday night at 6pm at the National Beef Sports Complex.
The Rattler 14u team played at Chickasha and went 2-3. The 14u Rattlers play at state in Goddard next weekend.
