Fatality accident occurred Saturday morning at approximately 3:09 am on OK-325 and N0130 Rd, approximately eleven miles north of Felt, OK in Cimarron County.
A 2002 Ford Escape driven by Mark Jeffrey Roberts, 64 of Kenton, OK. was east bound on OK-325, when he tried to avoid a cow in the roadway. Roberts went left of center, re-entered the east bound lane, departed roadway to the right, striking a dirt berm, rolling one and one-half times coming to rest on its top. He was not injured.
A passenger in the Roberts vehicle, Kathy Lynn Roberts, age 65 also of Kenton, OK. was transported by Boise City EMS to
Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City, OK, where she was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained in the collision.
