Liberal, Kansas – Seward County Women’s Soccer Head Coach Derek Talcott has announced his 2024 schedule that will put the Lady Saints against seven teams that were ranked in the Top 25 polls in the NJCAA to conclude the previous season.
Seward County will begin their 2024 season on the road with a nine-hour road trip to Gillette College for a pair of games on August 22nd and 23rd when they face Gillette on day one before taking on Western Wyoming on day two. Lady Saints fans will be able to see their team on Redskin Field for the first time on August 25th when Seward County takes on Otero to begin a three-game homestead that puts them against Kansas City Kansas on the 28th and Hutchinson on the 31st.
September will have the Lady Saints on the road in seven of their eight games in the month beginning with two games on the road against Cowley and Garden City before competing in their only home contest of the month against Dodge City on September 14th. The next five games through the month of September will all be on the road for the Lady Saints as they face Butler, Coffeyville, Barton, Kansas City Kansas, and Metropolitan to end the month.
In the final month of the regular season Seward County will continue their road stint in a matchup against Hutchinson to continue KJCCC action and will face a pair of Jayhawk foes at home in Cowley on October 5th and then Garden City on the 9th. Their final road trip of the 2024 regular season against a familiar opponent for Talcott in Tyler before then going against Dodge City in a key KJCCC rivalry game. Finally, Seward County will compete on Redskin Field in their final three games with the Lady Saints competing against Butler, Coffeyville, and Barton to close regular season action and then prepare for the Region VI Tournament on November 3rd.
