Plane Crash Near Perryton Injures the Pilot

PERRYTON, Texas (KFDA) – One person is injured after a plane crash southwest of Perryton, according to Mayor Kerry Symons.
According to Perryton Fire EMS, the crash occurred around 1:15 p.m.
Officials say the plane crashed near FM 281 and CR 8.

According to the Ochiltree County Sheriff’s Office, the plane was identified as a crop duster.

Perryton Fire EMS says the pilot of the plane was able to remove himself from the plane. He sustained injuries, including burns and was flown to UMC in Lubbock.
The FAA will investigate this incident.
