USD 480 Approves Bus Purchases

The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening and approved the quote from ElectroCoat to repair and refinish the lockers at LHS.

The Board approved the purchase of a 59 Passenger Bus with lift in the amount of $157,006.00, and approved the purchase of a 77 passenger bus in the amount of $159,102. Both busses will be coming from Midwest Bus Sales. Along those lines the Board approved the hiring of one additional bus driver and one aide position for the Transportation Department.

The Board approved the bid from French Construction in the amount of $1,169,263.52 to perform renovations at the LHS Library. For the East Campus Turf construction the Board approved the payment application to Hellas Construction in the amount of $101,379.38.

At the meeting, the Board approved the application form for new out of district students, and approved the purchase of 1000 new chrome books for the District.
