Saints Stay in Top 5 After Quarterfinal Round

The Saints got off to a hot start with both Cem Atlamis and Sebastian De Las Salas picking up wins in the #2 & #3 singles flights of the NJCAA National Tournament quarterfinals. Unfortunately the Saints would then be in a battle all day during the remaining 6 matches as the rest of their singles matches resulted in losses for Seward County. The only other win that the Saints were able to grab onto was over Eastern Florida State in the #1 doubles flight with Atlamis and Samuel Antwi being able to thwart the Eastern Florida pairing which will set up a semifinal match with the #1 pairing from Cowley College in a rematch of the top two teams in Region VI.

#3 Singles – [4] Cem Atlamis vs [1] Alex Despoja (Tyler Junior College) – 8:00 AM CT

#1 Doubles – [5] Antwi/Atlamis vs [1] Komagata/Nhavene (Cowley College) – 11:00 AM CT
