Rolla Man Injured on the Kansas Turnpike

An injury accident occurred Sunday morning at approximately 12:35 am, on the exit ramp from I235 Southbound at mile marker 14 to Westbound K96 in Sedgwick County.

A 2010 Buick SUV being driven by Owen Dean Shores, 21, of Rolla was going the wrong way from the meridian onto the ramp towards I 235 when he struck a 2023 Chrysler PC, being driven by Kathleen Stutzman, 31, of Halstead, head on.

Shores, Stutzman, and a passenger in Stutzmans vehicle, Jesse Moore, 33, of Halstead were all taken to St.Francis Hospital in Wichita with suspected serious injuries.
