LHS Softball Drops Two at Garden City

The Liberal softball team dropped two games at Garden City on Thursday afternoon and evening.  GCHS won 7-3 and 14-4.

In game one, Garden City held LHS to three hits.  Zoey Torres was 2-3 in the loss.

In game two, the Buffaloes led 9-3 after three.  Garden put the game away early with five in the fifth.  Zoey Torres was 3-3 with a home run and three RBI’s.  Garden City out-hit Liberal 12-6.  LHS had four errors.

Garden City is 5-6 overall and 2-1 in the WAC.  Liberal is 4-11 overall and 0-5 in the WAC.  LHS had dropped six in a row and plays at Cimarron Thursday.
