LHS Girls Soccer Blanks Guymon in Home Win

The Lady Red soccer team claimed a commanding 3-0 win against the Guymon Tigers, showcasing their skill and teamwork on the field Tuesday night at Redskin Field. Senior Mayra Hernandez found the net early in the first half, with an assist from senior Arely Molina.

In the second half, Hernandez once again found the net, doubling her tally in the 64th minute. Junior Nicole Catalan would also find the scoreboard by capitalizing on a rebound opportunity from Senior Angela Garcia after a free kick from Freshman Lily Santiago. The senior goalkeeper Ashley Acevedo and the Lady Red Defense celebrated the shutout over the Tigers.

Liberal improves to 4-3-1 record for the season.
