Pioneer Days Draws Record Numbers

Guymon’s Pioneer Days Rodeo is even bigger this year. The event has drawn a record 958 contestants this year. Many of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association top ten are competing in Guymon. The total purse for winners is about 400-thousand dollars. PRCA slack continues Friday morning at 8 a.m. Tonight is the PRCA rodeo first performance with Tough Enough to Wear Pink Night at Hitch Arena. The second PRCA performance is Saturday at 2 p.m. with the third performance Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. The fourth and final performance is Sunday at 2 p.m. There will be many other Pioneer Days activities throughout the weekend.
