Odell is Player of the Week

Liberal, Kansas – Anberlin Odell began her first year as a Lady Saint this past weekend and started her collegiate career in the best way possible as her big hits against McCook and Northeastern earned her KJCCC Player of the Week Honors as announced by the Jayhawk Conference on February 13th.
Anberlin Odell was a focal point of the Lady Saints scoring in their opening weekend of action in the 2024 season, hitting a batting average of .615 while scoring 10 runs through four games. Overall, on the weekend the freshman outfielder recorded 10 RBIs, 2 doubles, and 4 home runs including a walk-off home run bomb vs. McCook in game one to drive in three runs for a 12-10 win in extra innings. Odell helped lead Seward County to a 3-1 start with a 2-0 sweep over McCook while splitting a pair of games against Northeastern.
Seward County softball continues their season this week on the road as they compete on the road for their next twelve games beginning with North Central Texas on Thursday with game one of the doubleheader beginning at 12:00 PM.
