Southwest Medical Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Peter Phan, M.D., F.A.C.S., has joined our outstanding team of medical professionals. Dr. Phan brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving the community, and we are thrilled to have him on board. Dr. Phan’s journey into medicine was inspired by a calling he felt as a high school student in Washington State. All came down to this: WAC Championship meet. The team traveled to Great bend for our final meet of the season. Everyone from all 5 schools brought their best to this meet with setting new personal records. At the end of it all, the Liberal Swim Team finishes 3rd overall with a point total of 336, a new record for our team. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of men. They stepped up to the challenge and push themselves through the pain.
I would like to thank also the parents of all these boys. They supported us at meets and setting up meals for these men.
And of course a shout out to all those at LHS that supported the Swim program through moral support and appreciation.
