Shamari Lewis is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore basketball player Shamari Lewis is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Lewis averaged 12 points and nine rebounds a game for the 4-2 Liberal Lady Redskins.  She registered an 18 point and eight rebound game Tuesday in a 55-17 win against Hugoton.  Shamari is a multi sports athlete leading the LHS volleyball team in the fall.  She qualified for state in three events as a freshman in track and field.  Shamari is also a member of FCA at LHS.  Lewis and the Lady Red play at Hays Friday night at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
