Monday night, 8th Lady Warriors faced off against Kenneth Henderson at EMS. B-team dominated the night with a suffocating defense led by Ashley Batista who had 8 steals for the night, and a team total of 18 steals! Leading in scoring was Yuridia Gonzales with 18 pts, MarryAna Peregrino with 14 pts, Rebecca’s McLane, Ashley Batista, Valeria Gandara, and Scarlett Carr with 2 pts each continuing their undefeated streak with a dominating score of 40-6. A-Team started the night off strong offensively and defensively, crippling Kenneth Henderson early cruising to a win, leading in scoring was Devaney Carter with 16 pts, Maliyah Mullens 7 pts, Miah Janko 6 pts, Jeslynn Heredia 4 pts, Scarlett Carr and Yazlene Martinez 2 pts each, and Haiden Lyon 1 pt for a 38-14 win. Lady Warriors want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Saturday A-Team Lady Warriors faced Great Bend and Hays. First up was Great Bend. The Lady Warriors started out strong and shut out the Lady Panthers early defeating them 37-13. Leading in scoring was Maliyah Mullens with 13 pts, Devaney Carter and Yuridia Gonzales 6 pts each, Jeslynn Heredia 4 pts, Brooklyn Short, Miah Janko, Haiden Lyon, Yazlene Martinez each with 2 pts. Next up was Hays. The Lady Warriors started out strong offensively but struggled defensively but brought to keep the score within 8 at the half. The Hays offense proved to be too much defeating the Lady Warriors 48-31. Leading in scoring was Maliyah Mullens with 16 pts, Miah Janko, Jeslynn Heredia, 4 pts each, Devaney Carter 3 pts, Haiden Lyon, Yazlene Martinez, 2 pts each.
