M.J. Foster is Hay Rice and Associates of the Week

Liberal senior runner M.J. Foster is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Foster broke his own school record at the 6A state meet Saturday in Lawrence.  He ran the race in 16:08.50 and finished all state with an 18th place finish.  In 2022, he broke Andrew Bird’s school record set in 1999 of 16:20.  Foster is also involved in track, FCA, and NHS.  He will run at the Nike Cross Country regional on November 12 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  He will also run in some indoor track and field meets during the winter.
