Redskins Kick Past Blue Valley

The Liberal soccer team topped the Blue Valley Tigers 3-1 Friday evening at Dodge City Memorial Stadium.  The Redskins scored first as George Tejeda assisted Erick Garcia.  The Skins claimed a 2-0 lead when Suain Moncayo found the back of the net with a Jovani Garcia assist.  It was 2-0 LHS at halftime.  Suain Moncayo scored from the 25 yard line on a free kick after a hand ball at the 36:40 mark of the second half.  Blue Valley scored with 11 minutes left.  Blue Valley is 6-7-1 and Liberal is 7-3-3.  Liberal plays the 10-3 Olathe East Hawks Saturday morning at 11 am at Dodge City.  Dodge City topped Olathe East 4-1 Friday night.
