Great Bend Baseball Continues Dominance Over Skins

Last year the LHS baseball team split with all their WAC opponents except Great Bend who swept the Redskins. That trend continued Tuesday night in Great Bend as the Panthers took care of the Redskins 10-5 and 5-2. Liberal falls to 1-3 and 0-2 in the WAC. The Panthers started strongly scoring nine of their 10 runs during the first three innings. The wind picked up in game two and blew in as Great Bend beat LHS 5-2. Jose Pondo led the Liberal offensive attack going 5-8 during the two losses. The Redskins go to Larned Friday.
