He is survived by his sister, Anna Marie Neese of Colorado, and his brother Raymond Crosier and his wife Novella of Oklahoma. Jim’s extended family includes numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and close friends who held a special place in his heart.
Preceding him in death were his parents, as well as his sisters Naomi Beard of Oklahoma and Mary Lee Murray of Kansas. While mourning his loss, we find solace in the memories he shared, particularly those of his adventurous upbringing in Canadian. Jim’s storytelling prowess captivated us, and his tales, including the legendary “Land of Itchygoomie,” and the mischievous doings with his cousins Curtis and Don Crosier, brought laughter to all who listened!

Jim took great pride in his children and grandchildren, finding immense joy in their accomplishments and milestones. His passions included hunting, metal detecting, collecting arrowheads, and showcasing his skills on the barbecue grill. Above all, Jim was a man of God, driven by his faith and dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus to all whom he encountered.

To honor Jim’s life and legacy, a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held ay 5:30 PM on Saturday, September 2nd, at the Baker Arts Kitchen in Liberal, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you take your loved ones out for barbecue and enjoy each other’s company. It means more than anything else.
