Lady Saints Use Long Ball at North Platte

The ninth ranked Seward softball team took two over North Platte, Nebraska at North Platte Friday 4-0 and 14-2. In game one, Erin Roufosse pitched the shutout as she improves to 13-2 on the season. Alicia Reyes (3) smacked a solo homer and Brittany Kent launched a two run shot. In game two, Sydney Cicchetti improved to 9-3 earning the win for the Saints. Kelsea Blackstock hit her first homer of the year and Brittany Kent (3) hit a grand slam. Seward is 25-6 after sweeping the Lady Knights. Seward’s double header Saturday at Colby has been postponed.
