Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Liberal Memorial Library

Thursday, June 1st from 2pm to 4pm (rain or shine), the Liberal Memorial Library will be celebrating the beginning of our summer reading program with a Summer Reading Kickoff Party!

The library encourages everyone to attend and to participate in this year’s summer reading program from June 1st through July 13th. Our theme this year is “#IMAFAN”, and we encourage everyone to get a jump on the fun by attending the kickoff party on Thursday, June 1st from 2pm to 4pm.

With help from area vendors and volunteers, the party will have hot dogs, games, and prizes. With almost a dozen different booths, the party will provide the chance to play fun and exciting games for prizes and partygoers will also have the chance to learn about area groups and businesses.

But let’s not forget the most important part: Signing up for Summer Reading! In addition to all the fun and frivolity, the library will also have tables set up for people to sign up for summer reading.
