Jenna Ormiston is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior softball player Jenna Ormiston is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Ormiston was 3-3 with two doubles in Liberal’s most recent game Tuesday against Hays.  Ormiston is batting .326 and is tied for the team lead with 11 RBI’s and nine runs.  She has two doubles and leads the Lady Red with four triples.  She is the team’s ace pitcher.  Ormiston had 45 strikeouts and 20 walks in 60 innings.  Ormiston will attend Friends University in Wichita and play softball there.  She has been involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, FCA, NHS, and DECA her freshman year.  Ormiston and the Lady Red plays at Hays Friday.
