Living with chronic conditions is no pic nic. But there is a program
which is coming to Liberal later this month that offers support. The
program is called Kansas Optimal Health Program or “KOHP”.
K-State Research and Extension’s Kathy Bloom says the program
is intended to help improve the lives of people who live with chronic
conditions.
“If you suffer from arthritis, cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, heart
disease, high blood pressure, or any type of chronic issuue, this
is the work shop for you. It’s having amazing results across the
nation.”
It is a six week class which first meets March 30 and the next five
Tuesdays from 10 to noon at the southeast entrance of the 1st
Presbyterian Church. For more information call 624-5604.
