Brenda Louise Bryan Williams, 69, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away April 14, 2023, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas. Brenda was born May 21, 1953, in Stillwater, OK to Maggie Lou (Raider) and Herbert Wesley Bryan. She attended school in Stillwater OK.
Brenda was united in marriage to Lawrence H Williams Jr in June of 1971. To this marriage three children were born. The family moved to Hooker OK in 1975 and Brenda always worked in the food industry. She spent many years at Al’s Superburger and Braums in Guymon OK.
She often would draw/sketch and would sing on car rides while going back home for visits. Later in life when she had grandkids she would sing “You are my sunshine” to them. She was always proud of her grandkids and her great grandkids. She loved sharing Hershey’s chocolate with her grandkids and cheering on all kids in the summertime sports. She was a lover of all animals and through her cancer treatments and her COPD her one-eyed cat Teddie was with her all the time.
She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Maggie as well as her in laws Lawrence Sr. and Ruth Williams and her granddaughter Kandle Lynn.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence of the home, her daughter Angelia Williams of Hooker OK, Noah Williams of Liberal Ks and Candy Serrano of the home. Her grandkids include Robert Morris of Springfield Missouri, Kristy Ann Koehn of Liberal KS, Summer Williams of Liberal KS, Skyler Nelson of Tyrone ok, Miguel Serrano Jr of Hooker OK, Elizabeth Serrano of Hooker and Olivia Serrano of Hooker. She has three great grandsons, Isaiah Estrada and Adriel Estrada of Liberal KS and Sebastian Serrano of Hooker. She is also survived by her siblings Billy Dale Bryan of Stillwater, OK and Rosemarie Brooks of Alex, OK. She is also survived by another special family member Kristin Marie Gandiosi and her family of West Babylon NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a couple of cousins.
There will be a small celebration of life for Brenda at the Hooker Church of Christ Fellowship Building, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 3pm.
