Liberal Welcomes Record Class to National Honor Society

Liberal High School hosted the National Honor Society Induction Wednesday night in Maskus Auditorium at LHS.  A record class of 135 new members were inducted into the National Honor Society.  Much of the ceremony was conducted in darkness due to a power outage in that area of town Wednesday night.  The president of NHS is Lexi Franz while the vice president is Marisol Arenivas.  Kimberly Young is the secretary while Rosa Kendall is the treasurer.  The executive council members are Mitchell Foster and Elle Hatcher.  The NHS advisers are Heather Olmstead, Ashley Prosser, and Heather Watt.
