Okarche Rallies by Turpin

Turpin’s first trip to state in 38 years was short lived. Okarche topped Turpin Thursday afternoon in Norman 42-39. Turpin jumped out to an 11-1 lead the first five minutes of the game. Second seeded Okarche (26-3) didn’t lead until late in the third quarter but once they took the lead, they never trailed again. Turpin’s Cale Longhofer led the way with 11. Turpin finishes 22-7.
