Saints Sweep Cloud to Set Up Showdown with Butler

The Saints are 4-0 in the Jayhawk West after taking all four games over Cloud (0-6, 0-4) Tuesday and Wednesday at Brent Gould Field. Wednesday, the Saints won the first game 8-5 and the second game 10-4. In game one, Hayden Holub (2-1) pitched six innings allowing just three hits for the win. Kevin Domrzalski drove home three runs and Todd Glime drove home two runs in the win. The Saints (6-7, 4-0) plated four in the first in game two. Jose Gonzalez pitched six and one third innings for the win. Kelby Tomlinson, Josh Dawson, and Ty Jacobs led the Seward 15-hit attack with three hits a piece. Dawson drove home four runs. Jacobs and Jared Broadbent drove home two runs a piece. The Saints play Saturday and Sunday at Butler with 1 PM double headers both days. Game one Saturday will air on kscbnews.net.
