Lady Redskins Roll at Ulysses

The Liberal Lady Redskins won their eighth consecutive opener with a 49-17 win at Ulysses on Friday night.  The Lady Red led 42-8 and played with a running clock in the fourth quarter in their first visit to Ulysses since 2013.

Liberal led 15-5 after one and 27-6 at halftime.  The Lady Redskins built a 42-8 lead and led 42-11 after three.

LHS forced 26 turnovers and held the Lady Tigers to 6-27 shooting from the field.  The Lady Red shot 43 percent from the field.

Keyona Hall scored 15 points.  Hailey Contreras had 12 points.

Liberal plays at Scott City Friday at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
