Liberal Plays at State for First Time Since 2008

Playing at state for the first time since 2008, the Liberal High School volleyball team dropped their first two matches to Kansas City area teams Friday morning in Salina before an afternoon loss to the top seed Washburn Rural. The #4 seeded Redskins lost to the #5 seed Blue Valley 13-25, 14-25. Liberal lost to #8 seed Blue Valley West 10-25, 13-25. LHS fell to Washburn Rural 7-25, 17-25 Liberal finishes their season 27-11.
