Cerda Takes First on All Class Race at Hesston

Hesston Swather Invitational is a Class meet where 9th-12th grade athletes run within their age group. The girls would finish 3rd overall as a team lead the way by Daniela Cerda who finished 1st with a time of 22:38 in the 4-6A Junior class. Followed by her in the Senior race was Hallie West who would finish 5th with a time of 23:25. The girls had over 10 girls medal at this meet with much improvement on last years times.

 

The boys race was lead by two juniors and a group of senior boys. Junior Mj Foster would finish with a 2nd place finish 17:55 and Cesar Pavia right behind him with a 3rd place finish 18:36. The Senior boys of Daniel Amparan, Elian Laguna, Bryan Ortega, David Villa, Joaquin Naranjo would finish right after one another going 5th-9th. Through all the age groups the boys would have over 15 medals in the races
