Liberal Girls Tennis Opens Redskin Sports Season

Liberal High School’s athletic sports year begin with LHS tennis at Cimarron on Thursday afternoon.  In #1 singles, Katie Classen finished 2-1 and took home a 3rd place medal. #2 singles Amy Nguyen finished 1-2. The #1 doubles team of Lanee Harp & Arely Molina finished 2-1 and took home a 3rd place medal. The #2 doubles team of Natalie Zuniga & Kellyn Phan finished 1-2 losing their medal match and taking home 4th. Coach Sergio Borjas says overall the girls tennis team showed a lot of promise and are eager to compete.  Liberal is home September 6.
