Experienced Turpin Ready for Another Playoff Push

The Turpin Cardinals had made the Class B playoffs for seven straight years until a 4-6 season in 2021.  But this year, 10th year head coach Justin Hannah and the Cardinals have 31 players out for football and seven starters back on both sides of the ball.

Turpin is led by 10 seniors.  Some of the key Cardinals include Sr. WR/CB Kaden Moses, Sr. RB/LB Aaron Resendiz, Sr. C/NG 6’9″ 275 pound Drew Batt, Sr. OG/LB Bailey Boyd, Sr. OG/DE John Epp, Sr. WR/S Eduardo Aguilar,  Sr. LB/DE/TE Jackson Hensley, and Sr. QB Bryson Parker.  Parker broke Turpin’s records for passing yards with 2,139 yards and 22 TD’s in his sophomore year.  Resendiz anchors a solid ground game after he ran for 632 yards in 2021.

The Cardinals were featured during the Sportsguys Thursday morning. They will be our first On the Sidelines team August 25 at 6pm on 102.7 at Billy’s.
