Lana Rae Caldwell, age 56, of Andover, Kansas passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2022
Lana is survived by her Mother, Dianna Caldwell of Andover, Kansas. Brother and Sisters; Curt Caldwell and wife Linda White, Susie Roberge and Husband JP Roberge, and Shelly Dennis and fiancé David Martine. Niece and nephews; Avery Roberge, Clayton Dennis, and Preston Roberge.
She was proceeded in death by her Father, Billy Don Caldwell.
Lana was born August 8, 1965, in Garden City, Kansas; daughter of Dianna (Jacobs) Caldwell and late Don Caldwell. She was the second oldest of 4 siblings.
Lana grew up in Liberal, Kansas for most of her life, where she ran Bob’s Diner with her Mother for over 25 years. Later the two moved to Andover, Kansas in 2017.
Lana was a devoted Daughter and Sister. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, making crafts for her niece and nephews, and making her daily walks to Casey’s General Store. She was delighted to meet anyone and brought a numerous amount of joy and laughter to all. She valued her time spent at the Andover Senior Center, and the friends she was able to make.
Her positivity and radiance shined throughout her entire life, and she brought a smile to everyone’s face. Most of all, Lana loved her friends and family with all her heart, her classic rock, and her Diet Dr. Pepper
A funeral service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover, Kansas on Monday, August 8th at 11:00 a.m. Classic 80’s rock T-Shirts are encouraged but not required as attire. Family and friends are welcome to join after for a reception, immediately following the service. Father Ken VanHaverbeke will be officiating the service.
In Lieu of Flowers the family is requesting donations to be made to The Andover Senior Center; 410 Lioba Dr., Andover, KS 67002.
A committal of cremated remains will be held in Liberal, Kansas at a later date.
