Bee Jays Run Rule Foxes

The Liberal Bee Jays won their 19th straight game Wednesday night.  Liberal beat the Fort Collins Foxes 12-1 in seven innings in Liberal’s next to last home game at Brent Gould Field.

The BJ’s scored three in the first when Tyce Armstrong slammed a three run home run.  The Foxes scored a run in the third.  The Bee Jays added two in the fourth, two in the fifth, and five in the sixth.  Liberal out-hit the Foxes 15-6.

Tyce Armstrong was 2-3 with three RBI’s and two runs.  Daylan Pena also homered and went 2-4 with two RBI’s.  Gavin Brzozowski, Keaton Grady, Jett Brown, Caden Hensley, and Jordan Thompson had two hits a piece.  Pena, Brown, Hensley, and Thompson drove home two runs a piece.

Dylan Kerbow pitched four innings with seven strikeouts and one walk.  Thomas Wrehe went three scoreless innings with four strikeouts and one walks.

Liberal is 28-4 overall and 23-1 in the Rocky Mountain Baseball League.  Fort Collins is 6-20 in the Rocky Mountain.  The Bee Jays play at Hays Thursday night at 7:30 with coverage at 7:25 on 1270, 92.3, and The KSCB and The Legend App.
