4th of July Festivities in Liberal

The Liberal 4th of July Committee will host the first Annual 4th of July Celebration on Monday, July 4th. The festivities will begin with a Downtown Parade that will begin with a line-up at 9:00 am at Trail Street and Kansas Avenue. The Parade will move north on Kansas Avenue at 10:00 am to Light Park. To enter the Parade call 620- 629-3123.

At 11:00 am, the festivities will begin in Light Park. There will be Food Trucks, Live Music featuring DJ Studio 81 and RBC The Band. There will also be a Mini Talent Show, and Booths throughout the Park. For Booth information call 620-391-6820 and for the Talent Competition call 620-621-2520. The Festivities will run until 3:00 pm.

After the events at Light Park conclude, Fellowship Baptist Church will already be set up at Brent Gould Field for a free family picnic. The Liberal Bee Jays will play the Dodge City A’s at 7:00 pm at Brent Gould Field sponsored by Community Bank, Seward County, and the City of Liberal. A free public display of fireworks will take place immediately following the game at Seward County Community College.
