Hays Tops Liberal in Overtime

It took overtime for the Hays Indians to defeat the Liberal 2-1 Thursday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex. Nicole Catalan scored Liberal’s goal to tie the game as it would go to overtime. The Hays winning goal came with 18 seconds remaining in the overtime period. LHS falls to 3-5 overall and 2-3 in the WAC. Hays is 8-2 and 3-1 in the WAC. Liberal plays at Hays on Thursday.
