Driver Strikes City Bus

On Monday, April 11, 2022 at 5:00 pm Officers of the Liberal Police Department responded to a non-injury accident at the intersection of 4th St. & Kansas Ave. A white Chevy Equinox was northbound on Kansas Ave. when the driver ran a red light striking the 2018 Ford E-450 City Bus.
No injuries were reported. The driver of the Equinox was issued a citation for running a red light.
