Bree Horyna is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior thrower Bree Horyna is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Horyna won the shot put at 36-02 and the discus with a PR of 116-10 at the Redskins opening meet of the season at Ulysses last week.  Horyna was also second in the javelin at 100-05.5 last Thursday in the opener.  Horyna has state experience in all three events.  Hoyrna was also the WAC player of the year in volleyball and first team all WAC in basketball.  She has signed to play basketball at Hutchinson.  Horyna also participates in NHS, FCA, Meditation Yoga Club, and is LHS Senior Class Vice President as a member of student council.  Horyna and the Redskins host the Liberal Invitational track and field meet at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex on Friday at 3pm.
