Garden City Rallies Past Lady Red Soccer

Liberal’s girls soccer team opened their season with a 4-3 loss in overtime Thursday night at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex. Liberal led 2-0 before Garden City rallied. Lesslie Galindo and Ashley Carrillo scored unassisted goals in the first half. Carrillo scored with an assist from Arely Molina in the second half. Liberal plays Bishop Carroll in the Wichita South Titan Classic on Monday.
