Liberal City Commission Meets Changes Meeting Location to Mahuron Park Building

The Liberal city Commission met on Tuesday evening at City Hall. Among the items on the agenda, the Commission heard an update on the Gun Range. New cameras were approved and a plan is in the works to determine where the key for checkout will be located.Finalized plans should be ready by the next Commission meeting.

Commissioners approved the Liberal Ballfield Drainage Improvements and also a new larger Maintenance Building JKL Construction received the bid in the amount of $242,412.00. The Commission rescinded the purchase approved for the pick up for the Building Department, and approved the submittal of the 2022 BASE Grant to the Kansas Department of Commerce.

Commissioners approved the bid of B&H Paving of $240,250.00 for Chip sealing in the City. The City Commissioners approved the Concrete Bid award for the Rash Drainage Pond from Stoppel Dirt in the amount $90,223.95.

The City Commission changed the Commission meeting location to the Mahuron Park Building.
