There were actually some arrows pointing Liberal’s direction going into the boys basketball game Saturday night at Great Bend.  The Redskins played their best game Tuesday night against Hugoton.  The Skins had won six of the past seven at Great Bend.  Plus, Great Bend played at Dodge City on Friday.  However, the Great Bend Panthers dominated the Liberal Redskins 68-42.

The Panthers led 17-10 after one quarter.  The Redskins cut the lead to 25-19 but a 7-0 Panther run made it 32-19.  Great Bend led 37-23 at halftime. The Panthers led 50-31 after three quarters.

Great Bend was 9-22 from three and 13-22 from the foul line.  Liberal was 4-20 from three point range and 2-2 at the foul line.  Shay Kerr had 12 and Quintavious Williams had 10.

Great Bend is 7-12 overall and 3-4 in the WAC.  Liberal has lost five straight and is 4-14 overall and 0-6 in the WAC.  The Redskins play at Garden City Tuesday night at about 8 on 1270, 92.3, and the KSCB and The Legend App.
