Balko Fire Burns Homes, Acreage, and Outbuildings

The Oklahoma Forestry Service firefighting resources responded to 36 active fires on Tuesday.
The Oklahoma Forestry Service Suppression Group assisted multiple Beaver County Fire Departments on an 850 acre fire near Bryans Corner. Dubbed The Balko Fire, two residences and eight outbuildings were lost.Control lines have been completed at and resources will be checking the fire regularly for any flare ups.
