The 7 th Grade Lady Apaches Hosted EMS The Lady
Warrior’s BB team on Monday night. The A team played
first and lost 20 to 26.
The 7 th Grade B Team played the second game and lost 11 to
12.

“The Lady Apaches had their last regular season home game last night
against the Lady Warriors from EMS the Lady Apaches would sadly fall short
of a win with a final score of 19-38 in favor of the Warriors. Shamari
Lewis with 13 points, Abbi Feldhausen with 4 points, Destiny Gonzalez with
2 points, and Miranda Rosales with 1 point would be the scorers for the
night.”

Lady Apache B team basketball concluded their regular season last evening
at home against EMS. The contest looked like a runaway in the first 3
quarters, with the Warriors taking a commanding, 21 to 9 lead. The Apaches
staged a comeback in the fourth quarter that saw them outscore EMS, 10 – 4.
The final, EMS – 25, Lady Apaches – 19. SRMS set a season high record for
points in a game at 19. Destiny Gonzalez led SRMS scorers with 7 points.
Jazlin Marques and Allisson Rios had 4 apiece, with Lynete Alonso and
Miranda Rosales scoring 2. The A and B teams will now combine for the MSWAC
tournament that starts on Thursday at Seymour Rogers MS.

Last night the Lady Warriors faced the Lady Apaches @ Seymour Rogers.
A team was off to a slow start and struggled early in the game. The Lady
Warriors trailed at half time 15-10. In the 3rd quarter the Lady Warriors
woke up and fought back. The Lady Warriors held the Lady Apaches to 5
points the last half winning 26-20. Leading the Warriors in scoring was
Madysen Hammond with 10 pts, Trinity Olvera with 6 pts, Emily Vasquez with
4 pts, Lily Santiago, Angel Luna, and Shiaa Dunlap had 2 pts each.
B team worked together, played hard and pulled out the win 12-11. Leading
in scoring was Lily Santiago with 8 pts, Alina Alaniz and Ashley Romero had
2 pts each.

On Saturday the Lady Warriors faced the Guymon Lady Tigers.
A team struggled rebounding and with defense against the Lady Tigers. After
the first half, the Lady Warriors started coming back but fell short,
losing to the Lady Tigers 27-17. Leading in scoring for the Lady Warriors
was Madysen Hammond with 9 pts, Shiaa Dunlap with 6 pts, and Trinity Olvera
with 2 pts.
B team came out and played the best game of their season. They played hard
defensively and pulled out the win, 8-5. Leading the Lady Warriors in
scoring was Lily Santiago with 4 pts, Ashley Romero and Eliana Perez with 2
pts each.
LHS at Elkhart Saturday
Liberal Redskins C team travel to Elkhart over the weekend to play in the Elkhart wildcat JV tournament. The Redskins started with the Elkhart Wildcats defeating them 60 to 42 behind a 33 point performance from Elijah Navarro. Navarro hit 3 3pointers in the game as well as 8 free throws to lead the team and scoring.
Liberal Redskin reserve team then took on the Elkhart C team in Elkhart we didn’t score for that game was Alberto Torres with 14 Adrian Garcia 10 Alejandro Sanchez had eight Alfonso Reyes seven Alexis Galindo and Miguel Ovalle had 6. In this game the Redskins smothered the wildcat all fans with great defense and move the ball efficiently leading to easy baskets the Redskins would go on to make 9, 3 pointers in the game.
In the final game of the tournament the liberal C team took the court against the state and county Trojans and dropped a heartbreaker in the fourth quarter 53 to 48. The Redskins lead most of the game but gave up to leave in the last 2/4 ceiling a Trojan victory Elijah Navarro had 25 points to lead the team Alberto Torres added eight Julian Rosales had 5. Liberal Redskins C team well next be at home to take on the Woodward boomers on 13 December and then back home again on the 17th against Hays in the big house

The JV boys and girls travelled to Goodland for the Annual Goodland JV tournament. Max Arcos, Trey Dinkins and Ashlynd Winchell all came home with a first place finish. Emilio Salinas came home with a second place finish. Third place finishes came from Edgar Dominguez, Michael Byrd, Crystal Cardenas, Mason Bickerstaff, Rigo Armendariz, Julian Umana and Johnny Clifton. Gisel Tarango and Rosa Pablo came home with a fourth place finish. The JV and Girls will travel to Ulysses next week to get more experience and mat time.
