Southern Pioneer Awards H. U. G. S. Grants and Cobank Funds

The Southern Pioneer Electric H.U.G.S. team has been hard at work surprising recipients with grant funds! A special thank you to CoBank, whose Sharing Success program helped provide additional funds for some of these great projects. Congratulations to the following recipients!

Cunningham Fire Department – $1,500 H.U.G.S. grant to purchase a new portable radio.

Lincoln Library – $1,500 H.U.G.S. grant and $1,500 in matching funds courtesy of CoBank’s Sharing Success Program for new office furniture.

Liberal Recreation Department – $2,900 H.U.G.S. grant and $3,000 courtesy of CoBank’s Sharing Success Program for a Shoot-A-Way basketball machine.

Sublette, Kansas – $2,000 H.U.G.S grant and $2,000 in matching funds courtesy of CoBank’s Sharing Success Program for two new illuminated stop signs.
