Facebook Post Leads to Investigation

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, October 17^th 2021 was contacted by a concerned citizen in reference to a video they had watched on Facebook filmed by Motor City Justice.  The video shows an adult male approximately 30 years of age attempting to solicit a 15 year old girl in Liberal.  The Seward County Sheriff’s Office has been in contact with the Motor City Justice organization, who have been very helpful with this investigation.  Motor City Justice is an organization proactive in exposing sexual predators involving children in various communities.

This is a sad situation, that shows that anything can happen even in our small community.  The Seward County Sheriff’s Office would like the citizens and families in Seward County to remember to check your child’s devices, and always be aware there are those that will try to take advantage of our children.
