Faith and Blue Event Sunday

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office will be participating with the National Faith and Blue, and will be hosting an event this Sunday October 10th. The Seward County Sheriff’s Office will be taking on the Liberal Police Department in a basketball game. The evening will begin by serving food and drinks to the community at 4:00pm, in the amphitheater at SCCC as well as a meet and greet with the teams and other first responders before the game starts. During the game in the Greenhouse, there will be a ton of door prizes given away to children and adults which all have been donated through our local businesses.
To receive a prize ticket, bring a nonperishable food item to be collected during the meet and greet (one ticket per person). All donated goods will be distributed throughout the foodbanks in our area.
The goal of this event is to bring law enforcement closer to the community by bridging the gap through our law enforcement agencies, local schools, businesses, and churches.
