Redskins Blank Hays for First WAC Win

The  Liberal soccer team gained their first WAC win of the season Thursday with a 2-0 win at Hays.  Freshman Suain Moncayo assisted senior striker Angel Munoz at the 31 minute mark of the first half.  The Skins led 1-0 at halftime.  Angel Munoz found the back of the net again with less than one minute remaining to seal the win.  Goal keeper Samuel Hernandez and the defense provided the shutout.  Liberal is 4-5 and 1-3 in the WAC but have played three of their first four WAC games on the road.  The Redskins host Garden City Tuesday at about 6:45.
