Fatality Accident in Meade County

A fatality accident occurred Wednesday evening at approximately 8:12pm on Highway 54 at Road 26.
A 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 being driven by Neil Peters-Krahn, 53, of Montezuma was North Bound on Road 26. Krahn failed to yield to a 2018 Freightliner semi being driven by Victor Manuel Campos-Ramirez, 59 of Los Angeles California who was was West Bound on U54 which struck the Dodge pick up.
Neil Peters-Krahn was taken to Western Plains Medical Complex where he was pronounced dead. Ramirez was taken to the Meade District Hospital with minor injuries.
