Daniela Cerda is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore runner Daniela Cerda is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Cerda finished 2nd in the sophomore girls race of the Hesston Swather Invitational Thursday.  She ran the 5K race in 23:15.  She finished fourth in the opening meet at Meade in 13:23.  Cerda qualified for state as a freshman.  She also runs track and plans on participating in scholar’s bowl.  Cerda and the LHS cross country team run at Hugoton Saturday.
