Hooker Looks for Big Things in 2021

Hooker High is an area team to watch in 2021. This team has the makings of a championship contender. Hooker has 42 out for football and seven starters back on both sides of the ball for a team which went 9-4 in 2020. Their only four losses were to a pair of tough Texas teams Sunray and Olton and eventual Class A state champ Cashion and state runner up Thomas. Trevor Powers’ system is firmly entrenched in Hooker as he enters his five year with a 37-12 record. Hooker has size with tackles who weight 285 and 260 pounds and speed with members from a state champion mile relay team last spring.
Some of the key Hooker Bulldog players are Sr. QB Gavyn Parker, Jr. LB/RB Lawson Lynch, Sr. LB/RB Conner Hidalgo, Sr. DB/WR Hudson Hill, Sr. OL/LB Francisco Rodriguez, Sr. WR/ DB Seth Pritchard, Sr. WR/S Nate Metcalf, Sr. OL/DL Griffin McKee.
The Bulldogs were featured during Sportsguys Monday morning.
